About Personal Training

At AJ Personal Training we always offer one free initial consultation, where we can discuss your specific goals and review your current diet. Goals and targets will be set in order to ensure progress is being made.

​After the consultation, if you believe personal training is for you, then you will receive:
Home Personal training sessions by an experienced and well qualified personal trainer.
Workout plans to do in your own time.
Diet and nutritional help (specific diet plans are available but are an additional cost)

First Time Combo + Assessment

Mobile Personal Training is certainly a different entity than that in a gym. It enables a far greater relationship between trainer and client as it removes most distractions.
If you are a busy mother and don’t want the extra expense of child care, then a trainer turning up at your door, with all the equipment is ideal.

Personal Training 8-Pass

Popular Programs

Before commencing your exercise regime, it is important to know exactly where you are starting from.

This is why I define a clear strategy and milestones we want to reach together with all my clients during our first consultation.

Having such elements as your body fat percentage, weight, blood pressure, peak flow, heart rate, flexibility as well as cardiovascular fitness and strength test results in place, will provide a clear starting block to your new healthier life. 

This will additionally provide accurate figures we can work with and compare in the future to measure progress. I use these to develop a customised training programme for each of my clients, tailored toward his/her wishes, allowing the client to reach their stated goals in a reasonable time frame.

Strength Training

Food is power. In fact, it has too much power over so many of us. But that’s why it’s liberating to know the rules of good nutrition. Once you learn to eat smart, you take control over your body.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is beneficial to all levels of sportspeople, men or women, and can play a significant role in aiding the body in recovery from any strain or pains. People who train regularly can obtain problems such as soft tissue muscle imbalances.


Weight Loss

There are many ways to shed some excess pounds, but usually, just a little bit of jogging won’t do the trick. Your customised programme will focus not only on achieving your desired weight loss but also in maintaining it long-term.

I have been training with AJ for approximately 5 years. He is polite, charming and friendly but is also not afraid to be tough on you when you need extra motivation to achieve a goal or are being lazy!

His workouts are always challenging but fun and he varies the content so that you don’t get bored with them or stuck in a rut! He explains why you need to perform an exercise a certain way and the benefits you will gain by doing it properly.
